Nomination Contest: My Local Hero

The dawn of Thursday August 20th 2005, when I was 6 years old, my family, all my neighbours and me were sleeping when a fired started on the sixth floor. Everybody knocked at the next door’s neighbour to wake up each other. We called to the firefighters and two minutes later they arrived. They helped to take people out from the building and they controlled the fire inmediately after. The problem was the moment the firefighters put it out because the smoke went up and it entered to a woman’s flat. She didn’t know about the fire until she got up, dronned by the smoke. She screamed and then she fainted. Luckly, a firefighter called Luciano Radinisky heard her and he asked his mate to help him using a firefighters escalator. Luciano climbed up from the building’s ground floor to my neighbour’s flat and he entered there through the window. He found her laying on the floor, fortunately he took her out, he gave her CPR and she woke up. That’s why I want to nominate Luciano Radinisky as our local hero, because not only he saved all of us from the fire, he also heard my neighbour’s voice and prevented her from dying. He deserves to be our local hero because of his bravery, his attention and his dedication to his invaluable work.
